At Båtsuoj Forest Sami Centre you can learn about the Sami culture. We will take you around the camp and tell you about the work and traditions of the Sami people. We show you the reindeers and the typical sami buildings that you can find on a settlement. We talk about the shamanism, our nature religion. Before leaving you will enjoy a genuine Sami dinner with reindeer meat and other local ingredients, cooked over the open fire in the hut.
